This song was inspired by the book The Insanity of God by Nik Ripken. In the book, Chinese believers said, “When you pray for us, don’t pray that we will be safe. Don’t pray that we get out of prison. Pray that we stay true to the name of Jesus even if it costs us our lives.” While we pray for them that way we can also help refugees in Syria who’s lives have been turned upside down. Now is the time for the Church to rise up and take care for the needs of the defenseless.
